PLANT LAYOUT

The plant layout is as shown in the figure 16.1.  The plant has an entrance and exit. The administrative building and the non factory buildings are separated from the main factory building. The reactant storage and the product storage houses are placed in close proximity to the main plant. The plant has the adequate fire fighting facility and the occupational health center.  The utilities and the boiler houses are separated from the main plant by means of roads. The quality control is placed near the plant area as the product needs to be checked for high purity. The plant has the following parts
